The See Group of Companies has been an instrumental part of Alberni Valley Minor Hockey Association this season (2008/2009).
The See Group has provided AVMHA with $30,000 over three seasons in sponsorship with affiliation of the Alberni Valley Bulldogs organization. The players of AVMHA are very proud to wear the AV Bulldogs logo on their jerseys, as all of the kids grow up wanting to be “Bulldogs”.
The See Group has also provided numerous goaltending clinics throughout the season. Having these clinics provides the much needed instruction for the most neglected position in hockey.
The See Group has also provided AVMHA with full use of media equipment for the games, so our coaching staff can review game film to see where our players need improvement. Dennis See has personally come out to take photos at the AVMHA Hockey Jamboree, at numerous games from Mites to Midget and also at various photo ops.
The See Group will also be setting up our new ‘modern’ website in the very near future. We at AVMHA are very excited about this prospect to keep up with the changes on the Internet.
And to save the best for last, the See Group has been an extreme fundraising supporter for the players, coaches, parents and all associated with AVMHA, as they provided us with a 2009 Dodge Challenger that was raffled off on April 4th, 2009. AVMHA only had three months for this massive fundraiser to be a sold out success. Without the help from ALL of the staff at Alberni Chrysler this would not have been possible! AVMHA is very appreciative for this support.
This coming season (2009/2010) AVMHA and Alberni Chrysler have teamed up again to do another massive fundraiser! This time it is a 2009 Dodge 1500 4X4 Quad Cab (yes, it has a Hemi). We at AVMHA know that without the support from the See Group of Companies, our association would not have been in very good financial standing. With these raffles, it is a win/win all around; especially for the players and families, as the registration for hockey is kept at a reasonably low rate.
We at AVMHA are excited about the next two seasons of working with the See Group of Companies as they have been our greatest supporter; after all, it is all for the kids!
